AMMAN — The Kingdom’s Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Hadid and Lebanese Minister of Agriculture Abbas Hajj Hassan on Wednesday discussed ways to enhance cooperation and agricultural exchange between the two countries.

Discussions also covered means to increase Lebanon's agricultural exports to Jordan, and arrangements for Hassan's visit to the Kingdom in October, according to a Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture statement cited by the Jordan News Agency, Petra.

Hassan stressed the "historic and close" Jordanian-Lebanese relations, referring to the importance of further enhancing cooperation to serve mutual interests and increase the exchange of agricultural produce.
