UAE – Mubasher: The non-oil trade in the emirate of Abu Dhabi declined by 11.9% year-on-year in March to AED 15.978 billion ($4.35bln) from AED 18.115 billion, data by the Statistics Centre Abu Dhabi (SCAD) showed.

Non-oil imports valued at AED 7.093 billion in March, versus AED 10.016 billion in the same month last year, state-run Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported, citing the SCAD.

Meanwhile, export stood at AED 4.569 billion, compared to AED 4.560 billion in March 2018.

Re-exports valued at AED 4.317 billion last March, versus AED 3.539 billion in the year-ago period.

Saudi Arabia topped Abu Dhabi’s largest importers with AED 2.36 billion in March, rising 22.8% year-on-year.

Kuwait came in the second spot with imports from the emirate worth AED 331.05 million, followed by India and China with imports worth AED 287.93 million and AED 286.80 million, respectively.
