The UAE is boosting its already resilient financial system with a new initiative to ensure integrity in the industry.

The Central Bank of the UAE has developed a Persona Non Grata (UAEPNG) System, with the aim of restricting persons with questionable professional integrity from joining companies in the financial sector.

The new system "will not affect the customers of banks since it is not applicable to them", the central bank said in a statement to Khaleej Times.
