Saudi Arabia’s Basic Chemical Industries Company has announced the appointment of a temporary CEO following the resignation of Osama Farouk.

Abdul Latif Azmy Abdel-Latif Abdel-Hadi, a designated member of the board of directors, will act as CEO until the company appoints a permanent replacement.

The decision was made at a board of directors meeting yesterday (Wednesday).

Farouk’s resignation, for personal reasons, was announced last week.
