Muscat - To empower the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Oman, SME Development Fund (Inma) has tied up with Al Madina Takaful to provide takaful coverage to the SME customers.

The signing ceremony took place recently at the Inma headquarters at the Panorama Mall. The ceremony was attended by Usama al Barwani, chief executive officer of Al Madina Takaful, Ajay Srivastava, chief operating officer of Al Madina Takaful, Sheikh Salah Hilal al Maawali, chief executive officer of Inma and Rajesh Ghosh, general manager - marketing and business development at Inma, along with the team of both the companies.

In a press release, Barwani said, “Inma is providing various kinds of financial facilities to the SME customers across the sultanate and this partnership will enable us to reach these SMEs with all their insurance needs. Moreover, since Inma also offers Sharia’a compliant financing, the customers will be happy to get the takaful options also.”

Maawali said, “We are delighted to partner with Al Madina Takaful, one of the leading insurance providers in the sultanate and this partnership will help us to provide cost effective insurance products and protection to all our existing and new SME customers. This is the first time Inma will provide financial facilities along with insurance options.”
