Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi directed the government to expand efforts to reduce water shortages and improve the quality of water.

The country’s water conservation strategy includes the construction of water desalination and treatment plants at a value of EGP 435 billion, according to a presidential statement on Monday

The president also stressed on the importance of localising the technology of water treatment plants.
