Cairo –  The $500 million Pyramids Renovation Project is slated for inauguration in the first quarter of 2020, assistant of Egyptian antiquities minister, Hisham Samir, stated on Wednesday, according to the Middle East News Agency (MENA).

The antiquities ministry agreed with Orascom Investment Holding to provide large 70-seat electric busses, he added.

Samir revealed that the delivery of the electric buses is set to be in April 2020, which will be followed by the opening of the project.

Orascom will organise events at the Pyramids in coordination with the antiquities ministry and provide various services to visitors, the top official said.
