Abu Dhabi-based Bloom Holding has announced the appointment of Jeremy Lester as its new acting chief executive officer replacing Sameh Muhtadi, the group CEO since 2014, who has decided to step down to pursue other interests.

Bloom Holding is a subsidiary of National Holding, an Emirati group dedicated to developing sustainable and integrated communities.

In his new role, Lester will take full responsibility for operations across all Bloom Holding companies, which include sectors such as real estate, education, hospitality and lease and facilities management services.

In his previous stints, he had held senior positions with Emaar International as CEO, and also had led JLL for over a decade, where he played a critical role in driving the firm’s growth in real estate sector.

Welcoming Lester into the fold, Bloom Holding's board members said: "His track record of delivery, wide sector experience and deep understanding of the region make him exceptionally well-placed to steer the company’s future direction."

"His dynamic approach and knowledge of the real estate development industry in the UAE will enable Bloom Holding to maximise its potential for future growth," they added.-TradeArabia News Service
