MANAMA: The United International SMEs Organisations (Unismo), which has its permanent headquarters in Bahrain, is organising its 3rd international virtual seminar today.

Themed “Business Outlook 2021 for SMEs ... New World and New Opportunities”, the webinar is being held jointly with the Unismo branch in Washington D.C. at 11am USA EST and 7pm Bahrain time.

Today’s event will be followed by a virtual seminar next month in co-ordination with the Unismo branch in Sydney, Australia.

Unismo chairman Abdulnabi Al Shoala will preside over both seminars which are organised by the organisation’s general co-ordinator Dr Abdulhasan Al Dairi.

Dr Al Dairi said this reflects the prestigious position of Bahrain in the international community and its developmental policies for improving the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises which are appreciated and valued by relevant international unions and parties.

The founding members of Unismo belong to 14 countries across the world, while the European headquarters are located in Geneva, Switzerland where the 10th Annual International MSMEs Day Conference will be held next year after taking place in the kingdom since the organisation’s inception in 2010.
