Switzerland will make an additional 1.5 billion Swiss francs ($1.68 billion) available for Ukraine by 2028, Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis said at a conference in Washington.

Together with the 300 million Swiss francs earmarked for 2023-2024, this would bring the total Switzerland will provide to the country by 2028 to 1.8 billion francs.

Bern has already separately allocated 1.03 billion francs to support the around 75,000 Ukrainians who have sought refuge in Switzerland.
