Bulgaria's producer prices fell 7.9% on a monthly basis in February, mainly due to electricity and gas prices, statistics office data showed on Thursday.

Producer prices rose by 9.7% on an annual basis in February, driven by manufacturing and mining.

The broader index of producer prices, including prices on the local market and for Bulgarian products sold internationally, fell by 5.9% on a monthly basis but rose 8.9% year on year.
