Saudi Arabia's Zahrat Al-Waha Trading Company announced on Sunday that it has completed the installation of two plastic preform moulding lines for miniature plastic bottles from Canada's Husky Injection Molding Systems.

The company said in a bourse statement that the new lines would increase its annual production capacity by 14 percent and help cater to domestic and export markets.

The purchase of the production lines was funded 30 percent by the company's cash resources with Islamic medium-term and short-term facilities accounting for 34 percent and 36 percent of the funding respectively, the bourse statement said.

Trial operations and start of commercial production are expected to take place in the third quarter, the statement concluded.
