Saudi Arabia-based Anfas Medical Care (AMC) is expected to float the main tender for its Wellness Village project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in the first quarter of 2020, a a source close to the project said.

"The design work is expected to be completed by February 2020. The tender for the main construction work is expected to be floated in the first quarter," the source told Thomson Reuters Projects.

The source estimated the total project value at $155 million, adding that it includes a medical centre, laboratories, pharmaceutical stores and parking areas.

In November, H+A Global had announced that it has been awarded the mandate to provide advisory, architecture, interior and landscape design services for the project. The statement said work is set to start in the second quarter of 2020 and is due to be completed in 2022.
