Iraq has approved the allocation of around 75 billion dinars ($63 million) for construction and other projects in three governorates within the 2019 investment budget, the local press said on Wednesday.
Planning Minister Nouri Al-Dulaimi, quoted by Al-Forat News, said the funds would be used in road expansions, construction of new hospitals, as well as power and sewage projects in the central Babil governorate, Diyala in Eastern Iraq and Muthanna in the South.
"These projects are part of plans to improve services in those governorates and rehabilitate some facilities," he said.
