Oman’s Hydrom has extended the bid submission deadline for Phase A Round 1 of its first green hydrogen auctions by a month.
The bidders are now expected to submit proposals by 15 March 2023 and the award for two concessional blocks in Duqm is expected in April 2023, according to an announcement made by Hydrom.
The winning developers will deliver integrated projects covering the full green hydrogen value chain including renewable production, hydrogen production, hydrogen derivatives conversion and secure offtake for their projects.
Further two to four blocks in Dhofar will be offered in the second round and awarded by end of 2023.
