Cairo – Mubasher: A high-level German delegation announced they are looking forward to establishing an international German university in Egypt.

The university will be set up under the name of “The German University for Applied Sciences” in the New Administrative Capital, according to a press release.

This came on the sidelines of the German delegation’s visit to the new capital.

Head of the new capital’s council Mohamed Abdel Maksoud said that the German delegation was accompanied by the technical office that will implement the university project at the earliest possible time.

Abdel Maksoud added that the delegation has also visited the proposed location of the anticipated project.

Egypt and Germany signed an EUR 129 million economic cooperation protocol and a letter of intent regarding the new comprehensive Egyptian-German education initiative.
