Mubasher: The first phase of expanding roads leading to the Bahrain International Airport (BAH) has reached 90% completion at a total costs BHD 5.5 million, the assistant undersecretary in Bahrain’s Ministry of Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning said.

The ministry also has finished 20% of the project’s second phase, Al Ayam newspaper reported, citing Huda Fakhroo.

The two phases will be completed in line with the trial inauguration of the airport’s new terminal, she added.

The road expansion project is expected to be completely finished in the third quarter of 2019, Fakhroo said.
