• Famous actress Aroona Irani to star in the show
Dubai, UAE - Zee TV has come up with yet another distinctive drama serial with the introduction of Naaginn - waadon ki agniparikashaa on October 11th. The serial deals with the enigmatic and mysterious concept of the Naaginn in South Asian culture and will be aired every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
The show is set against a Rajasthani background with Shayantani Ghosh playing the lead role of the protagonist as the Naaginn. Other leading actors include Aroona Irani, Ali Hasan, Siddhart Dhawan and Shabaaz Khan. The story itself revolves around the life of an Ichadhari Naaginn who transforms herself to take revenge from the Rathod family who had earlier killed her parents in order to attain the precious Naagmani. The murdered parents of the Ichadhari Naaginn had been the king and queen of the Naag community and while dying the queen naaginn had instructed her daughter to take revenge from her human killers and to rescue the Naagmani in order to bring them back to life.
This is the beginning point for the struggle of the Ichadhari Naaginn who transforms into a human and begins to live a normal life. She eventually marries into the same family responsible for the death of her parents. However, therein lies the twist in the story as her love and duty towards her husband make it difficult to keep her promise to her parents.
