Community-lead mall does its part to showcase traditional Omani culture, arts and entertainment over 60-day period, capping off the summer with a grand prize of 2 Nissan X-terra 4x4 vehicles
MUSCAT, Oman, 28 June 2011 - From July 1st until 31st of August July, 2011, Muscat City Centre - Oman's largest mall and top contender for fashion and lifestyle outlets - will play host to a 60-day cultural extravaganza highlighting the best of Oman's culture, arts and entertainment, culminating in a 'Spend and Win' promotion to give away 2 Nissan X-terra vehicles. Throughout the 2-month festival and promotional period, visitors to the mall will be exposed to local talent, in addition to fun and lively folk entertainment shows. Moreover, many attractive prizes will also be up for grabs when consumers spend as little as RO 25 at any of the mall's retail or F&B outlets.
During the month of July, Muscat City Centre will host weekday entertainment shows every Sunday through Tuesday from 7pm to 10pm. Exciting cultural and traditional shows will give insights to Omani traditions and heritage ensuring the entire family will be entertained. Likewise, Omani city displays promoting the Sultanate's unique and historic landmarks will also be showcased throughout the mall, with local bands and educational depots staging the culture of Oman. During the month of Ramadan, arts and craft exhibition will take the place of live entertainment.

Muscat City Centre, first opened in October, 2001, is the biggest and most dominant mall in Oman and recently underwent a 16-month RO 22.5 million expansion project.
