The international certification enables the VTCDC to hold training courses and examination sessions for ICDL CAD international certificates. The announcement was made today by UNESCO's Advanced Quality Assurance General Manager in Cairo, Mr. Naseem Abu- El Hayja'a, Mr. Ibrahim Safadi, CEO, LUMINUS Group and the VTCDC's Centre Manager, Mr. Sameer Barhoumeh at a press conference held today at Al Quds College. VTCDC also announced it will be running its first ICDL CAD testing session on Saturday December 15th starting at 10am.
The ICDL CAD international certificate offers people the opportunity to upgrade their skills in 2D and 3D in accordance with international standards. European ICDL-F developed by a team of specialists and distinguished experts in the industry. The most updated curricula for this certification (issue 1.5) developed the certificate in harmony with current professional and industrial drives that cater for the market with more comprehensive and modern versions.
ICDL CAD certificates are widely recognized in Europe, have been designed for college, university and vocational training centre students, and for professionals in architecture, constructions and other engineering specializations. These certificates were also designed to consolidate students' various ICDL CAD skills.
Mr. Abu-El Hayja'a regarded highly the achievements of the VTCDC, as well as its facilities and access to modern and hi-tech equipment, which come together to qualify it as an accredited local centre for training, testing and accrediting international ICDL CAD certification.

ICDL CAD program will enable students to amend elements and models, change specifications of models, engage in printing and graph planning necessary to reach results. Certificate holders can also use some advanced design applications through computers, such as listing models pertaining to other applications.
