Dubai, United Arab Emirates – In a landmark move in the UAE education sector, UK College of Business & Computing (UKCBC) Dubai Campus and University of Birmingham (UoB) Dubai Campus have signed a partnership agreement that enables students to pursue education with two world class education institutes newly set up in the UAE.
UK College of Business & Computing - Dubai Campus has 17 years of experience delivering vocational and professional qualifications to more than 3000 students across its six campuses. They Dubai Campus, the first as part of their international expansion was set up inaugurated in July this year and welcomed its first batch of students in September 2018.
On the other hand, University of Birmingham Dubai Campus, a Russell top 100 university globally, is one of the latest and most prestigious university to be set up in Dubai offering students a unique opportunity to experience British education right here in UAE which mirrors the standards provided back at their home campus. The university also welcomed a very diverse cohort for its first intake in September 2018.
Both UKCBC and UoB Dubai campuses are situated in the heart of Dubai International Academic City (DIAC) which is a home to many international universities and has a vibrant student community.
Commenting on this partnership, the College’s Director of Finance & Operations, Mr. Bhargav Busa, FCCA said ‘We are thrilled to welcome the University of Birmingham to our family of global partners. We are confident that with our joint standards and ethos in providing quality UK education, we will be able to provide exciting learning opportunities for our students.’
As part of the partnership, students who have completed the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business at UKCBC with the stipulated grade can now progress to year 1 of the Business Management programme at UoB Dubai Campus.
