Premier Motors, the official dealer for Ford Trucks in Abu Dhabi, is showcasing a 6x4 rigid chassis truck equipped with a 25 cubic metre (CBM) RosRoca refuse compactor, at the EcoWASTE exhibition being held as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. The dealership is participating in the exhibition for the first time.

Powered by the new Ford Ecotorq engine family, the truck, part of the 2017 6x4 Series vehicles, now comes with greater power and more efficiency than ever to ensure customers can continue with their daunting tasks. With over fifty-five years of manufacturing expertise, Ford Trucks are tailored to meet the specific requirements of the UAE market.

Offering comfort and exceptional uphill traction, the 2017 6x4 Series now delivers a whopping 430 PS and 2150 Nm of torque with the new Ecotorq engine, a significant improvement over the previous generation which delivered 350 PS and 1400 Nm of torque.

The new 400 KW engine brake provides the driver with firm control while climbing steep slopes. The optional 600 KW Intarder option offered for even tougher conditions brings the total braking capacity to 1000 KW, ensuring that the heaviest loads can be safely carried on even the steepest slopes.

Designed for the most demanding environments, with best-in-class sequence and efficiency, a new feature in the new Ford 6x4 Trucks is the Automated Transmission option. With Off-road, Rocking and Economy modes, the Automated Transmission option assists drivers in keeping their vehicle sure-footed on virtually any terrain.  

A twenty-two per cent improvement in turning radius over the previous generation significantly reduces the number of manoeuvres in tight site conditions, turning narrow spaces into easily navigable areas for drivers.

Ford Trucks’ vehicles offer quality & durability with low cost of ownership. Additionally models such as 1843T tractor, 1833 (4x2), 3543P/M/D (6x4) and 4143M/D (8x4) mixer can be customized with transmission and cabin modules for on road and off road conditions.

Hot Climate Package

Hot Climate Package provides comfort in hot and dusty environments with improved A/C and radiator performance, and improved cabin isolation and filtration. The package was developed over a two-year period of vehicle durability tests in simulated laboratory conditions and also tailored to specific customer expectations through a series of road tests in the region. The Hot Climate Package is offered across the entire product line-up for the UAE.

•      The trucks covered more than two million km of test drive in eight different regions

•      The new Ford Trucks Series was tested in eight countries across three continents under the world’s toughest conditions, and prepared for the users.

The vehicle will be on display at Stand 2240 in Hall 2 at the EcoWASTE exhibition being held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from January 16 - 19, 2017.
