NZTE strengthens links with the UAE culinary industry with exclusive trade event
UAE, Dubai, February 26, 2011: Decision makers from the UAE's leading hotels, airlines, restaurants and catering companies attended 'Taste New Zealand', a trade event held on Wednesday evening (23 February), at The Address Downtown Dubai for those working in the food and beverage (F&B) sector.
Organized by New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE), the New Zealand Government's economic development agency, the event provided a platform for New Zealand companies to exhibit the country's finest food and drink - including seafood, red meat, organic produce and dairy specialities. It also marked the growing presence of these companies across the UAE's professional food industry.
A total of 21 businesses participated in Taste New Zealand, including Sealord, ANZCO Foods, Killinchy Gold, Absolute Foods, The Fiordland Lobster Company, Sea Products Limited, New Zealand King Salmon, Talley's, Highford Marketing, Fonterra, Cowells Genuine Pavlova, Canary Butter, Organics Foods & Café, Antipodes and a number of other New Zealand beverage companies.
