RMAL Hospitality builds on 78 Years of Tiki Heritage Globally
Dubai, United Arab Emirates - 28th May 2012; Trader Vic's is set to launch its new venue in the prestigious Dubai Festival City district in June 2012. This exciting venture will be the fourth edition to the Trader Vic's family in Dubai and the 26th worldwide.
Managed by RMAL Hospitality, one of the UAE's leading hospitality specialists, the 10,900 square foot venue boasts an extensive lounge, restaurant and outdoor terrace with waterfront views.
Speaking about the latest project, Anthony P. Liddiard, Chief Executive Officer of Rmal Hospitality, explains; "Since the first Trader Vic's opened its doors in Dubai more than 15 years ago the original Tiki venues have gained a loyal following. Both residents and visitors are tempted in by the fusion of elements which, together, create a tropical oasis no one can resist. As a result, Trader Vic's is an institution which has firmly established itself as a top venue in the local dining and entertainment scene.''
Building on a legacy that spans almost 80 years, the new 320 capacity Trader Vic's (DFC) will perfectly encapsulate the globally loved brand. Boasting the signature décor which Trader Vic's has become renowned for, Festival City will soon be unleashing the famed exotic concoction of unusual artifacts, tribal masks, Mai Tais, Bahia's and Polynesian food delights. Each restaurant, though consistent in theme and aesthetic, has its own unique personality and the new venue is proof of this. The style has been updated, adding a dash of vivacity to extend its appeal to next generation diners.
"We are continuously developing the Trader Vic's brand within the region to ensure that it evolves with the market; growing continuously to not only meet, but exceed customer expectations. Our latest outlet in Dubai Festival City will be an exciting addition which does just this. Though the vital elements of the brand will of course remain inherent within the venue, we have introduced a couple of exciting new twists on the Polynesian concept, one of them being a live sushi bar," added Liddiard.
Trader Vic's DFC will be conveniently situated opposite the Intercontinental Hotel with an entrance access merely a short walk over the connecting bridge. As guests enter the venue they will be welcomed into the relaxed lounge with a full length bar serving up signature cocktail favorites'. The thatched outdoor terrace and dining area (which will seat more than 130 across lounge and restaurant sections), provides the ideal space for al fresco dining and partying. The spacious restaurant features a raised private dining area as well as an interactive sushi counter - a unique addition to the Trader Vic's UAE outlets.
The Trader Vic's Corporation has worked passionately over the years to remain true to the spirit of the Trader's carefully conceived vision. The décor is authentic and transcendent; the flavors are savory and bold; and the libations? Exotic and enticing! The new Trader Vic's is bound to become a treasured oasis for nearby residents.
