Bahrain May 7th, 2006: Track LLC (www.trackglobal.com), the pan-Arab learning products company based in Kuwait, announced that their curriculum has been expanded to include a tourism and hospitality certification course. Offered in English and soon in Arabic, the tourism and hospitality course covers the business of tourism, tourism management, marketing, hospitality, maximizing customer relationships, emerging issues in tourism, global code of ethics, and tourism security and safety.
As the exclusive distributor in the Middle East and North Africa regions for the global provider and leader in business skills training and the sponsor of the Certified Business Professional (CBP), the International Business Training Association (IBTA), Track has added the tourism and hospitality certification ensuring that tourism projects undertaken by both governments and corporations are successful.
"During the past three decades, Gulf countries have witnessed remarkable growth in the tourism sector," said Jawad Qasrawi, Track Vice president.
"Millions are being spent on tourism these days: more than two dozen new hotel licenses have been issued in Kuwait, Qatari Diar's Lusail development in Qatar, and projects like Saadiyat Island in the UAE, to name a few. Track, aware of the increasing need for hospitality professionals, is proud to have secured learning products and certification courses in tourism and hospitality which will help this sector grow throughout the GCC," he added.
IBTA has always provided a variety of CBP courses that are short, well-structured, engaging, and never limited. The introduction of the new tourism and hospitality course is no exception. It is presented in a clear and concise format, enabling busy professionals to easily get trained in hospitality and tourism.
"IBTA's Content Development Team is comprised of experienced experts, most of who have their own businesses and travelled around the world. Extensive research went into the development of CBP's tourism and hospitality course. This was necessary to ensure that the course meets our standards and also the needs of employers in the region. We're so excited to offer this course to our loyal partners" concluded Mr. Qasrawi.
