Dubai, U.A.E, April 29, 2007 - The famous three-star Michelin chef and executive chef of Hilton Dubai Creek, Gordon Ramsay hosted a luncheon for the members of Dubai Ladies Club on Saturday (April 28, 2007) at his award-winning 'Verre' restaurant.

Mark Deere, General Manager of Hilton Dubai Creek said, "We are honoured to host this exclusive luncheon for the members of Dubai Ladies Club. Events such as these bring the 'Verre' dining experience to the local community, and in this particular case we're delighted to welcome women, who as we know are the main family decision makers!"

The signature restaurant at Hilton Dubai Creek opened for lunch for the first time to present a light three-course menu showcasing Ramsay's favourite dishes.

Mona bin Kalli, Events Manager, Dubai Ladies Club said, "The Club aims to organise a repertoire of activities and events throughout the year with specific interest to women. By sampling the culinary delights of Gordon Ramsay, our members are able to enjoy a unique gourmet experience".

Ramsay is currently one of the three UK chefs whose restaurant has been awarded three Michelin stars. Ramsay is also famous in the UK for presenting TV programmes about competitive cookery and food and has been awarded a total of 10 Michelin stars. He is well known in the U.S. as the host of FOX's Hell's Kitchen, which debuted in May 2005.

'Verre' Ramsay's first venture outside the UK, received many awards such as, "Restaurant of the Year Award" and "Best Contemporary Restaurant" for the second consecutive year honoured in the 2nd annual Time Out Dubai Magazine.

The restaurant is known for its elegance and modern European cuisine.
