Achievements and Five-Year Finance Plan
Jeddah: The Society of Majed bin Abdul Aziz for Development and Social Services held its annual general meeting (AGM), in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Mishaal Bin Majed, Majid Society Chairman, board members with prestigious participation of sponsers and programs' collaborators.
The (AGM) program was topped with review of the distinguished recognition from The Global Rating Initiative (GRI) and the scoring of A+ on the second sustainability report. it's an international recognition of a success achieved by the application of international standards in transparency, disclosure, governance. Majid Society is now honored as the first Saudi entity among profit and non-profit organizations that received this distinguished global rating.
The Meeting reviewed Majid Society's receiving of Civil Societies Leaders Award (Riyada) from Oman, in the presence of (Riyada) representative. The award is an evidence of Majid Society role in boosting partnerships concept by the issuing of annual sustainable report and organizing Social Development Forum regularly.
On this occasion, HRH prince Mishaal Bin Majid declared,"The Scoiety of Majid bin Abdul Aziz is going onward to establish sustainable development within its management to achieve all its programs and initiatives. Last year was remarkable with achievements and here comes (GRI) A+ rating of the second sustainability report and (Riyada) Award as catalysts of Majid Society to meet the challenges and achieve commitments in accordance with strategic objectives in community services."
Nevertheless, The Meeting discussed Finance plan for the next five years and the financial results of the fiscal year 1432 H. It will conclude with honoring of Majid Society's strategic partners and supporters.
It is worth mentioning that Majed Society, was founded in 1419 H/ 1998 G at the initiative of HRH Prince Majid bin Abdul Aziz. The Society is working hard to achieve a milestone in the development field sustainable by working to promote the concept of sustainable development.

Majid Society was founded at the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Majid bin Abdul Aziz (God bless his soul) in the 1419/1998 and recorded in the register of charities at the Ministry of Social Affairs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the number (174) on 22/03/1421 AH 25/06/2000 M. Then on 03/27/1427 H corresponding to 26/04/2006 AD has been re-launch of the Assembly of Majed bin Abdul Aziz for development and social services, the current vision.
