Zee will lead the sales and marketing division of the 374-room hotel. A Canadian national, Mr. Bassila has more than 15 years sales and marketing experience in the hotel industry under his belt. He began his career with the Ritz-Carlton Montreal in his home town Quebec before moving to the Middle East, accumulating 10 years of experience with International brands, having also spent some time in Kiev and Singapore.

Zee studied hotel management and food services from LaSalle College, Quebec in 1993. Despite his busy schedule, he still can manage his time to exercise like jogging, cycling, skiing and playing squash.
