Wafi Mall is racing ahead of the competition with its Dodge Scalextric Challenge during this year's DSS celebrations. This unique challenge offers visitors to the mall the chance to win limited edition Dodge Caliber cars, while testing their driving skills.

With qualifying rounds already underway, Wafi Mall has seen a host of both male and females of all ages lining up to take the Scaletrix controls and race their way round the miniature tailor made circuit to win the two limited edition cars. Pole positions stand with Amal, from the UAE, at 1.53 minutes and Joel, from the Philippines at 1.52 minutes.

Visitors to Wafi spending AED 200 or more can automatically enter the Dodge Scalextric Challenge, in which they compete against one another to complete the fastest lap time. A

Digital Panel as well as a panel of judges are on hand to record the fastest lap times.

"Dodge Scalextric Challenge has been a great hit for this years DSS. We are delighted to see men and women, of all ages, battle it out for a chance to win some excellent prizes. Extreme Motors has, so far, been a great success attracting everyone from shop-aholics to car enthusiasts" said Hind Al Falasi, PR Manager, Wafi Mall.

In addition to the fabulous prizes on offer, Wafi's Extreme Motors exhibition also boasts the greatest gathering of racing machines ever seen in Dubai, with legends such as Renault, Ferrari F1, McLaren-Mercedes MP4/21 and the BAR Honda side by side.

The BAR Honda is currently the star of the Emirates Foundation Charity auction as enthusiasts gather to place a bid on the car driven by Jacques Villeneuves in the 2001 World Championship series.

Shoppers making the most of the DSS bargains at Wafi and spending more than AED 200 will also receive vouchers to race on the Toyota Panasonic Formula One simulator race located on the 1st floor, next to Marks & Spencer.

Wafi Mall is also offering fantastic discounts on many designer labels with as much as 75 per cent off some of Dubai's favourite labels.
