Advertising campaign for the ultimate island-lifestyle experience

Doha, Qatar - June 02, 2008: Inspired by the Rivieras of Italy and France, The Pearl-Qatar - the 'World's Smartest Island' -launched a new advertising campaign aimed at showcasing the Island's wealth of attractions and lifestyles. As one of the region's most visionary developments, The Pearl-Qatar is redefining the concept of luxury living.

The campaign draws attention to the Island's award-winning marinas, platinum beaches, pristine turquoise waters as well as its world-class leisure and entertainment facilities. Residents will be able to shop in boutiques offering the finest luxury brands found nowhere else in the region.

ABOUT THE PEARL-QATAR
The Pearl-Qatar is an offshore, Riviera-style man-made island, covering 985 acres of reclaimed land with an estimated cost of QR55 billion. It is Qatar's first international real estate venture, one of the largest real estate developments in the country and the first to offer freehold and residential rights to international investors. It will create over 32 kilometers of new coastline.

The Pearl-Qatar's name and location, on a former pearl diving site, highlights the country's traditions, and strong historical and cultural ties to the sea. It is an island rediscovered.
