Amman, 11 March, 2008: The National Arab Motors KIA-Jordan has announced the arrival of the new Kia Cerato 2009 to Jordan. The new Cerato is distinguished by its creative and sporty design, neat looking and advanced technology, all this bring together the capability, quality, luxury, and convenience for drivers and passengers.
The new design of Kia Cerato 2009 gives a new spirit to KIA vehicles. The creativity of Kia Chief Design, Peter Schreyer, in the new design reflects the futuristic vision for Kia vehicles.
The external design for the Kia Cerato 2009 combines the best features through dynamic movement and extreme performance to surprise customers. Kia Cerato is also distinguished by its smart sporty style that gives balance to the driving experience through the proportionate dimensions, which makes Cerato the best and highest selling car in the world.
Its worth mentioning that Kia Cerato 2009 is powered by 1.6 CC engine with 126 horse power, in addition to selections of 11 exterior colours and three interior colours.
A "Super Vision" cluster with reddish lighting is available with a new "message center" digital information display at the bottom of the cluster. This display gives information about fuel level, engine temperature, door-or trunk-open alerts and fuel consumption.
Every New Cerato is equipped with a four-speaker audio system (four door speakers) and offers the option of six-speaker audio system (two dash-top tweeters and four door speakers), plus a choice of three radio/CD players and the option of MP3 and iPod connectivity. Remote controls for the audio system are mounted on the steering wheel.
While designing and engineering New Cerato, Kia's research and development team concentrated on maximizing the vehicle's refinement and minimizing NVH (noise, vibration and harshness).
As well as improving NVH, new Cerato's robust bodyshell structure delivers real passive safety benefits with increased impact resistance. Using a much higher percentage (63%) of high-tensile strength steel the new car achieves excellent rigidity and strength.
