Al Faisaliah Hotel's The Globe Restaurant Scoops Top Saudi Excellence in Tourism Award

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 21st April 2013: The Globe restaurant, a truly iconic landmark on Riyadh's skyline and the most prestigious fine dining destination in the Kingdom for more than a decade, received further recognition of its unrivalled excellence when it was named Best Fine Dining Restaurant at the recent Saudi Excellence in Tourism Awards (SETA).

The Globe, which forms the flagship fine dining destination in the portfolio of restaurants at the five-star Al Faisaliah Hotel, A Rosewood Hotel, has earned global acclaim for its gourmet cuisine, exceptional dining experience, and panoramic views across Saudi Arabia's capital city from its position at the top of the Al Faisaliah Centre.  

With the finest ingredients flown in from Europe daily, Chef de Cuisine Marius Ackermann creates the Globe's renowned gourmet dishes. The restaurant is also home to The Al Faisaliah Globe Summit - an annual gastronomic event that brings a group of world's celebrated Grand Chefs to Riyadh every year to create a series of gala dinners, intimate studio lunches, and exclusive culinary seminars for fine dining lovers in the city.

This is the third edition of the Saudi Excellence in Tourism Awards which was created to recognize excellence across all sectors of the travel and tourism industry within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is run in partnership with Saudi Commission of Tourism & Antiquities (SCTA).
