With remarks and suggestions considered to develop Tamkeen's programmes
Tamkeen visited a number of local Ramadan Majlises in an initiative to capitalize on the sense of community provided by Majlis visits, a traditional practice in Bahraini society during the holy month. This comes as part of Tamkeen's belief in the importance of engaging with the public to exchange views and expertise.
Another benefit of such visits is to introduce Tamkeen's wide spectrum of Private Sector Support and Human Capital Development programmes and to gauge public perception and feedback for future reference and action.
Tamkeen's team discussed a number of topics related to its training programmes and business support initiatives the enhancement of Tamkeen's role in supporting emerging enterprises, business incubators, and business financing programmes.
Through these visits, Tamkeen aims to tackle the community's needs through bridging all gaps with the Bahraini community.
Among the Majlises visited were Majlis of Dr. Isa Jasim AlMutawa; Majlis of Mr. Jihad Bukamal & Bros; Majlis of the Deceased AbdulKarim Ahmed AlAnsari; Majlis of Ahmed Ibraim Bahzad; Majlis of Shaikh Jasim Al-M'omen & Bros; and Majlis of Shaikh AbdulAmeer Al Jamri's sons. All attendees lauded Tamkeen's efforts in developing the Bahraini individual's skills and competencies and private sector support.
Further visits are planned during the holy month of Ramadan to increase community involvement in Tamkeen's outcomes and to raise awareness about the different support schemes that the public can benefit from. Visitors are keen to record all remarks and consider suggestions to give Tamkeen's programmes a further boost moving forward.
Discussions included suggestions for new training programmes, supporting school graduates and providing employment opportunities. The importance of supporting start-up businesses were focused on as well as the provision of funding aids enabling further success to such businesses with high productivity levels.
