Stage set for 'The Bridal Affair 2' at The Ritz Carlton DIFC from September 14 to 15

Dubai, July 1, 2012: The second edition of The Bridal Affair, the ultimate wedding show featuring top suppliers from the UAE, the Gulf region and Indian subcontinent, will be held at The Ritz Carlton, DIFC, Dubai, from September 14 and 15, 2012.

The show will bring together over 85 wedding suppliers in an exciting and elegant ambience, embellished by fashion shows and entertainment activities, serving as a one-stop shop for people planning a wedding.

"After the resounding success of the maiden show in March 2012, we have been emboldened to expand The Bridal Affair both in size and grandeur," says Dilip Nihalani, Managing Director of Nihalani Brothers, the company behind the show. "Our idea is to present a high quality show in a luxurious five-star setting where brides-to-be and their families can shop around in chic elegance and great comfort."

From bridal fashion to party favors and giveaways, The Bridal Affair will cater to every small detail that goes into wedding planning. The two-day event will showcase Wedding Venue providers, Stage Decorators, Hair & Makeup specialists, Caters, Florists, Photographers, Videographers, Wedding Planners, Entertainment Providers, specialist Transporters and suppliers of Wedding Favours, Jewellery, Cakes, Chocolates, High Fashion and Accessories.

The Bridal Affair is the brainchild of Dilip and Bhavna Nihalani, both of whom have been actively involved in the fashion retail for over four decades. The duo launched The Bridal Affair to give a new face to the business of wedding planning.

"The Bridal Affair is designed not only to enable people to come face to face with wedding suppliers under one roof, but also to eliminate the drudgery and boredom associated with wedding preparations, by integrating fun elements into the show," says Dilip Nihalani.

Brides-to-be and their families will be in for a treat as they tour this two-day show, sample wedding cakes, get pre-wedding skin care advice and even try a few dance rehearsals. Among the many attractions at the show will be SpaGenie, which specialises in offering bargain deals on spas in UAE, through gift vouchers.

Some of the vendors and suppliers who have confirmed their participation in The Bridal Affair are Fae Fashion, Sparkle Jewellery, Magic Moments wedding photographers, Evolution Events and fashion designers Asif Merchant, Benu Sehgal and Parul Grover.

"The Bridal Affair show has been designed to meet the wedding requirements of the UAE's cosmopolitan society, including Emiratis and expatriates from Arab countries, Indian subcontinent as well as Western expatriates," says Bhavna Nihalani. "We are incorporating many new elements this year to give visitors a totally different experience. We are also working on schemes to give our exhibitors more than just value for money."

A number of live events and special promotions have been lined up at The Bridal Affair and details of these will be announced closer to the date of the event.
