Barcelona (Spain) - Coordinated by the Spanish Exporting Manufacturers Association for the Hospitality Industry (AFEHC) and with the support of ICEX Spain Trade and Investment, the Spanish hospitality equipment industry will exhibit its products at the second edition of GulfHost, which will be held from 30 October to 1 November 2018 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (Dubai, United Arab Emirates).

GulfHost was created with a focus on hospitality equipment in 2017, when the Gulfood trade fair, which had hosted the combined exhibition of equipment and food for the hospitality industry from 1996 to 2016, began to specialize exclusively in food.

This will be the second group participation in GulfHost of Spanish manufacturers organized by AFEHC. The association also organized group participations of Spanish companies to the Gulfood show for 12 consecutive years from 2005 to 2016. Moreover, this foreign trade promotion activity forms part of the 2018 Industry Plan for Foreign Promotion of Hospitality and Catering Equipment Manufacturers designed by AFEHC in collaboration with ICEX Spain Trade and Investment.

Group Participation of 24 Spanish Manufacturers

Under the umbrella brand Horeca Equipment from Spain, a group of 24 Spanish companies will occupy an exhibition area of about 775 square metres to display their products at the GulfHost trade show. These firms are A.M.C., Araven, Caff, Coreco, Denox, Docriluc, Fagor Industrial, Fricosmos, Frucosol, Girbau, Infrico, ITV Ice Makers, Lacor, Luis Capdevila, mychef by Distform, Nikrom, NTGas, Pujadas, Repagas, Salva, Sammic, Zumex, Zummo and Zumoval.

The Spanish manufacturers will exhibit their latest innovations in hospitality equipment for the Middle Eastern market. These innovations include equipment that provides high energy efficiency, smart devices that apply Internet of Things technology and solutions that guarantee food safety.

Promotion of the participation of the Spanish companies at GulfHost 2018 will be handled through the AFEHC stand (Sheikh Saeed Hall, stand S-D13). A brochure with information on the exhibitors in the Spanish group will also be available at the stand.
