Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi (PSUAD) has taken part in the celebration of the 20th anniversary for the fall of Berlin wall that was organized by Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in the UAE and Goethe-Institut Gulf Region in Abu Dhabi yesterday.
Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the UAE; HE Ambassador Klaus-Peter Brandes was well received by Pr. Jean-Yves de Cara; Executive director of PSUAD and Dr. Ronald Perlwitz; Head of Language and Business studies at the university.
The delegation; of Ms. Susan Jokisch; Third Secretary of Cultural and Press Affairs at the embassy, and Goethe representatives Ms. Volker Pfeiffer; Head of German Language Department at the institute, Ms. Naya Roder cultural programs coordinator and Ms. Nashua Gomaa the office manager, escorted H.E. Mr. Brandes on his visit.
‘A photographic journey’; a gallery titled “Local Time/From Peaceful Revolution to German Reunification” ‘featured some 50 photographs and documents from a German Photographer; Mr. Stephan Koppelkamm”. According to H.E. Mr. Brandes speech.
Students of PSUAD interacted with the delegation, and expressed their contentment to be part of such educational and cultural events that enrich their international knowledge, and educate them of nations’ history and civilization.
