Dubai - At the Middle East Electricity (MEE) 2018 exhibition in Dubai, held from March 6th to 8th, Siemens is demonstrating ways of achieving sustainable, affordable and reliable power grids that support energy management. With digital technologies and a diverse portfolio, the company is helping customers increase the efficiency of power transmission and simplify power trading, while enabling smart integration and ensuring the satisfaction of the end user.
Kuldeep Tickoo, Executive VP of Digital Grid at Siemens Energy Management Division in the Middle East, will also be speaking at a conference happening in parallel to the show. Tickoo will be delivering a keynote speech on energy transformation, focusing on breakthrough technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and energy storage solutions. He will also outline the importance of digitalization as an enabler for increased productivity and new business models.
Among the technologies on display at the Siemens booth are SICAM, which supports automated grid management; and Reyrolle, which ensures the stability and security of the grid. NXAIR, the air-insulated switchgears that help keep power distribution safe, will also be on show.
MEE is the region’s leading international trade event for the power industry, with dedicated product sectors for power generation, transmission and distribution, energy storage and management solutions.
