Shell Oman Marketing Company SAOG (SOMC), which operates the only state-of-the-art lubricants blending plant in Oman, has launched its reputed brand Shell Helix Super for passenger cars. SOMC is the only organization of its kind in the country to be ISO 9001 (2001) accredited for lubricant storage, handling, distribution, and associated services. The all-new Shell Helix Super has been specially formulated to meet the unique all-year-round requirements of passenger car engines in local conditions. The Helix Super brand combines unique fully-patented, high-quality base oils with a superior additive system - providing superior cleaning of the engine. Additionally, it reduces noise levels in the engine by a minimum of 20%. This is primarily because Shell Helix Super has excellent viscosity retention over a wider range of temperatures.
