Sharjah Media Corporation announced its support and sponsorship of the Student Graduation Project Exhibition (Spark), which will be held by the College of Communication at the University of Sharjah on the 13th and 14th of May 2015, and participated by dozens of students who are due to present more than fifty outstanding graduation projects during the two-day exhibition.

SMC's sponsorship of and participation in the Student Graduation Project Exhibition is part of its commitment to support and sponsor the graduate student projects and to promote values and standards of purposeful media. As part of its corporate social responsibility strategy, the corporation consistently nurtures young talent, as it deeply believes in their significant contribution to the economic progress of Sharjah and the UAE.

Speaking on the occasion, HE Khalid Omar Al Midfa, Director General of Sharjah Media Corporation, said, "Through our participation, we are eager to support the expertise and knowledge of graduates, identify and develop their media abilities to achieve communication and interaction with the community's issues and concerns, and present multiple media materials. We thus confirm that the corporation is open to remarkable and ambitious talent in joining us to complete their academic success through training and job opportunities that meet their various ambitions and aspirations."

The participating projects will represent different disciplines, such as public relations, which includes various corporate exhibitions and media awareness campaigns; digital media, which includes documentary films, graphic design, creative marketing, and printed newspapers; and public communication in English, which includes documentary films and exhibition management and organisation.

Sharjah Media Corporation will participate in the exhibition tent via a 10-metre long by 10-metre wide stand. The corporation will welcome the graduate students, present their projects, and distribute an assortment of promotional leaflets to the students to familiarise them with SMC and its role in the media sector.
