Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi was successful at the Time Out Abu Dhabi Restaurant Awards 2012 held on 5 November 2012, receiving six accolades.

Shang Palace, Shangri-La's signature restaurant serving Cantonese cuisine, received a "Highly Commended" award in the "Best Chinese Restaurant" category.  Shang Palace offers authentic Chinese specialities and dim sum in a traditionally decorated venue.

Pearls and Caviar, the hotel's stylish and eclectic Mediterranean seafood restaurant, received a "Highly Commended" award in the "Best Seafood" category and won the "Best Brunch" award.  Pearls and Caviar offers "brunner," a contemporary brunch experience with grills, speciality cocktails and views against the background tunes of the resident DJ.

Bord Eau, the hotel's French fine dining restaurant, received a "Highly Commended" award in the "Best Romantic" category as well as receiving two major accolades - the "Best Contemporary European" restaurant award and the coveted "Restaurant of the Year" award.  With the setting of a chic dining room featuring opulent fabrics and furniture, Bord Eau offers an à la carte menu and daily specials.  The restaurant's chef de cuisine, Alexandre Pernetta, surprises guests with his seasonal blind tasting menu.
