TORONTO, March 26 /CNW/ - Shairco For Trading, Industry & Contracting Co. Ltd. ("Shairco") today announced that as a result of the acquisition of 334,000 additional common shares of Unigold Inc. ("Unigold") through the TSX Venture Exchange, Shairco now has direction over 25,637,000 common shares (or 33.72% of the outstanding shares) of Unigold (TSX-V: UGD) and holds 3,303,000 common share purchase warrants of Unigold.
The acquisition of these securities by Shairco was made in the ordinary course of business for investment purposes.
