Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Kuwait

At a signing ceremony held in Kuwait on Wednesday, Ali Mousa Al-Mousa, CEO and managing director of Securities Group, and Jost Hellmann, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics chairman and managing partner, announced the creation of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Kuwait.  The new company will be strategically located between the port and the airport and serve the industrial, commercial and residential markets in Kuwait and around the world.

"Securities Group has built a solid reputation on providing our clients the best," said Al-Mousa.  "When we were presented with the opportunity to partner with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics the fit was evident.  Hellmann built its business on delivering quality customer service and we are proud to welcome the company to Kuwait."

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, one of the world leaders, is a privately held family company based in Germany.  Hellmann's network includes offices in 341 cities in 134 countries.  The new office in Kuwait continues the company's controlled expansion trend that blossomed in the 1990s.

"Only those who take on responsibility can truly create an atmosphere of mutual trust.  We at Hellmann feel responsible for the business success of our customers," noted Hellmann.  "In Securities Group we found an organization that shares our commitment and, more important, has a proven history of helping clients reach their goals and that's how we define success."

From the one man, one horse-drawn cart parcel delivery service Carl Heinrich Hellmann started in 1871, Hellmann has grown into a full service company employing more than 15,000 people in more than 300 locations around the world.  Today, the company provides a wide range of logistics-based services, including transport services, courier and express parcel services, warehouse consulting, IT services and special services designed specifically for the automotive, beverage, marine, perishable and fashion sectors.

"Despite Hellmann's worldwide presence, we still see ourselves as a family business.  For this reason, we strive to be close to our customers.  Therefore, it is natural for us to work actively for our customers around the clock and around the world," said Kuwait general manager Danny Staples.  "Our office here will allow us to deliver the same quality service to both our Kuwait-based customers and external customers trading with Kuwait."
