Dubai, June 19, 2006: SAP today announced that UNICOIL, one of the leading manufacturers of pre-painted steel products in the Middle East, implemented the SAP Applications with NetWeaver platform to support its growth strategy and integrate operations.

The SAP applications comprise the seamless, best-in-class modules that will enable UNICOIL to better record and report business events, improve Supply Chain Management, calculate actual production cost, reduce data redundancy and automate inventory management. The implementation started on November 2005 and went live on June 1st, 2006. Unicoil's implementation team uniquely adopted SAP Best Practice which saved around 40% of the estimated project duration.

Speaking on the implementation, Mr. Ahmad Shaaban - CIO, UNICOIL said: "We are very excited about the SAP NetWeaver installation. It will decrease the time it takes to move the products to the market, reduce service interruptions to the manufacturing process, and help determine sales prices based on market value and product cost". He further added: "the SAP installation will increase efficiency across the organization, impacting business processes for all employees and facilitate organizational growth."

The SAP application is designed to coordinate across all aspects of the UNICOIL business, including product development, supply chain and inventory management, and financial reporting.
