Dubai, UAE, 10 January, 2011:  As part of its continuing efforts to better serve customer needs, Samsung Gulf Electronics, in partnership with Eros Electricals, opened its second Customer Service Plaza in Abu Dhabi on the 29th of December 2010. Located in the Tourist Club area in Abu Dhabi, the new Samsung Customer Service Center provides a one-stop shop for service, repair and inquiries on all Samsung audio visual and hand-held products.

Samsung's Abu Dhabi Customer Service Plaza is the second facility of its kind in the UAE. With the first one serving Dubai consumers, Samsung saw the importance of  expanding its service operations by having another center in Abu Dhabi proving their dedication and commitment to providing world class services to its Abu Dhabi customers.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Young Soo Kim, President of Samsung Gulf Electronics said, "Samsung has always used a customer-centric approach in which they believe that 'customer comes first'. With the launch of the new Customer Service Plaza in Abudhabi, Samsung is reinforcing its commitment to its valued customers with a new level of customer care service that exceeds all expectations. Samsung customers can now enjoy their products knowing that a fully-focused customer service programme to support them with help and advice is a step away.

On the same note, Mr. Deepak Babani, CEO of Eros Electricals added, "Since our customers are our first and foremost concern, we are always looking for the best ways to serve them wherever they are.  With that in mind, we have inaugurated the second Samsung Customer Service Plaza in the UAE, first in Abu Dhabi, demonstrating our commitment to widen our service coverage in the UAE and ensure customer satisfaction.  We look forward to the opening more centers in the UAE in the near future."

Also present at the inauguration were Kiran Tewari, Customer Service Head of Samsung Gulf Electronics, Niranjan Gidwani, Deputy CEO of Eros Electricals, Krishnan Ganguli, Samsung Business Head of Eros Electricals, and Sanjay Sawant, EROS Service Head.

Samsung's Customers Service Plaza features extensive after-sales support through its state-of-the-art call center to cater for all customers' needs and inquiries. Accessible on 800-SAMSUNG (726 7864), the call center operates Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 to 17:00. The Customer Service plaza will however remain open from Saturday through Thursday from 9:00 to 19:00.
