Slimfit TV to offer unique features - nano pigment technology for improved brightness at 800 candela, contrast at 5000:1 ratio, 100% color reproduction
Dubai - Global technology innovator, Samsung Electronics, have ushered in a new age of home entertainment experience with the launch of the first SlimFit CRT (cathode ray tube) television in the Middle East region. With the WS-32Z30HE, 32-inch CRT TV, Samsung has taken another step forward in technology advancement. It's the World's first 'slimmest' CRT TV representing the best in the market, with unrivaled video playback, arresting colour display and sophisticated home entertainment size.
Ashraf Sajid, Senior Manager, Sales and Marketing Manager, Samsung Gulf Electronics said, "This HD (high-definition) ready TV is, aesthetically, similar to a LCD TV or Plasma TV that are capable of displaying at resolutions of 1080i images but is priced at less than half of a normal 32-inch LCD TV. It gives 150-mm space benefit with a depth size of 412 mm as compared to a Current Color TV which has a depth of 561mm."
The new SlimFit TV is a design revolution and breaks away the conventional type of colour television design. It has been designed to integrate harmoniously into a lifestyle. The outer chassis is in dual tone of black and silver, with the inner bezel in black to enhance contrast. The slim side speakers are wisely designed for narrow, slim depth.
With the vivid and natural picture quality the TV also has the nano pigment technology for visual superiority. It offers more natural picture quality with a 100 per cent color reproduction, better contrast at a ratio of 5000:1 to provide greater brightness without comprising on contrast for real-to-life like images and better brightness at 800 candela.

The TV has a horizontal viewing angle of more than 165 degrees to provide a picture-perfect entertainment experience from anywhere in the room and theatre-quality surround sound experience guaranteed by SRS WOW 3D technology. WOW is a special combination of SRS audio technologies that creates a thrilling immersive sound experience with deep rich bass from mono or stereo sound sources. The result is an audio that sounds richer, fuller and wider. WOW restores the spatial cues and ambient information that is lost during standard stereo playback. It includes TruBass, a patented bass enhancement technology that offers a dramatic improvement in bass tones that are often lost during compression or are unable to be delivered by small speakers.
