Dubai, 06 January 2010 - Rotana, the leading hotel management company in the Middle East and North Africa has officially inaugurated Rose Rayhaan by Rotana, Dubai's latest landmark which is certified as the tallest hotel in the world by the Guinness Book of World Records.
Commenting on the opening, Omer Z. Kaddouri, Senior Vice President UAE Operations for Rotana said: "Rose Rayhaan by Rotana is not only the tallest hotel in the world but also the UAE flagship for Rotana's alcohol-free brand Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts, which will assist Rotana to position its brand internationally and will certainly maintain Dubai's positioning amongst other tourism destinations worldwide".
"We are indeed very proud to be managing this landmark property, which will increase Rotana's stronghold further in Dubai and across the region. Rotana will be operating 11 hotels in Dubai, with two more scheduled to open during the first quarter of 2010, which will add 547 rooms to Rotana's inventory in Dubai. At the end of 2006, the building reached its full height with the addition of the spire and the Rose Rayhaan by Rotana then led the list of the 10 tallest buildings completed in 2007.
Daniel Mathew, General Manager of Rose Rayhaan by Rotana said "Rose Rayhaan by Rotana is the second property to open under Rotana's brand "Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts by Rotana" (with the first one opening in Makkah), which is uniquely designed to cater to the diverse needs of our guests. This alcohol-free option reflects our respect for the culture and beliefs of our guests and our dedication to fostering a new Arabia in today's world".
This landmark hotel offers 482 rooms, suites and penthouses with their modern designs complementing the values of Arabian culture.
