Established in 1963, the World Travel Awards known as the "Oscars of the tourism industry" was launched to recognize excellence in the hotel sector. Thousands of votes over 160 countries are casted from tourism organizations, transport companies and travel agencies from across the world in order to select the number one hotel of each country by categories.
