Over 1,000 invitees to attend workshop on 'Lead Without a Title: Winning Leadership Lessons to Build a Great Organisation'

Dubai, February 22, 2012: Robin Sharma, the renowned expert on leadership and personality development and author of books like The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari and The Greatness Guide, will be conducting a three-hour workshop on "Lead Without a Title: Winning Leadership Lessons to Build a Great Organisation" for members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Dubai and Abu Dhabi Chapters, on Saturday, February 25, at Dubai Men's College Auditorium, Dubai International Academic City.

The high-profile 'Invitation Only' event is part of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the Dubai Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (DCAI) which has over 1800 members, while the Abu Dhabi chapter has more than 500 members.

"We are thrilled to bring a much sought-after celebrity speaker like Robin Sharma to address our members," said S. Venkatesh, Chairman of DCAI. "This is the first joint program organised by the Dubai and Abu Dhabi chapters of ICAI. As two of the most active chapters of ICAI, a statutory body established under an Act of Indian Parliament in 1949, we are delighted to host Robin Sharma as part of our goal to raise our profile in the UAE."

"We have been hosting many speakers and celebrity guests in the past, but getting a speaker of the calibre of Robin Sharma to address our members is a major feat," said Ramesh Krishnan, chairman of the Abu Dhabi chapter. "We are sure our members will benefit greatly from the tips provided by the acclaimed leadership and personality development guru."

The event will be attended by a number of VIP invitees, including Indian Consul General Sanjay Verma and several Emirati business leaders and officials.

Robin is the author of 11 internationally published books, including the bestseller "Lead Without a Title" which is basically about democratization of leadership. According to Robin, the new model of leadership ('Leadership 2.0') is about every single stakeholder showing leadership in the work they do. Every single person who works within a business, for example, owns the responsibility of showing leadership at their craft. Every single teammate is the CEO of their own small business unit called their job.
