H.E. Rashed Lahej Al Mansoori, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Systems and Information Centre (ADSIC), the government entity in charge of Abu Dhabi’s ICT agenda and operational framework, said that the Abu Dhabi government's 50th anniversary reflects its achievements underlined by the efforts of late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The Golden Jubilee is also a source of inspiration that will pave the way for further achievements, which elevates the emirate’s reputation internationality and highlights it as a role model for investing in the development of nationals as well as in driving economic prosperity and sustainable development at various levels.

Al Mansoori congratulated H.H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates; H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Chairman of the Executive Council and to his fellow Emirati nationals.

“ADISC and its strategic partners from government entities led the creation of the Abu Dhabi e-Government strategy in line with the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 and the emirate’s five-year plan that was launched as a work program to shape the emirate’s future,” said Al Mansoori.

“ADSIC launched the Abu Dhabi e-Government strategy to effectively contribute to enabling the priority aspects for building an integrated and harmonized government and to address challenges to meet overall economic and social excellence aspired by our wise leadership,” he added.

Al Mansoori said that the tremendous success and achievements the emirate has witnessed are a result of the nation’s wise leadership, which set the futuristic foundation and encouraged UAE nationals to further establish Abu Dhabi as a hub for leading governance and the implementation of international best practices.

"Since 2006, and as part of our firm commitment towards innovation and modernism, we have been collaborating with our strategic partners to improve Abu Dhabi’s ICT infrastructure and raise the readiness of government services for digital transformation to strengthen the fundamentals of government integration. This was achieved by providing joint digital platforms in terms of solutions, data and supporting systems characterized by reliability, safety and high efficiency. This was to ensure Abu Dhabi’s sustainable development and facilitate various aspects of life for citizens and residents alike.”
