Rasamny Younis Motor Company S.A.L. (RYMCO), exclusive dealer of NISSAN MOTORS in Lebanon presented, on the 28th of October, the NISTEC, Nissan Technician Excellence Competency Award, the NISAC, Nissan Service Advisor Excellence Competency Award, and the NIPEC, Nissan Parts Executive Excellence Competency Award, during their annual contest reflecting the magnificent skill of the aftersales service advisors, technicians and parts sales agents.

According to a written test; technicians are enrolled to show outstanding skills in technical knowledge, service safety and work under pressure. Electrical, Diagnostic and Mechanical problems are intentionally done on cars; the technicians have to solve the problems following service manuals procedure within a strict time constraint. To prevent any biased results and to have feasible score the juries are engineering graduates invited from USJ (University of Saint Joseph).

RYMCO in-house technical and nontechnical trainer is Engineer Leila Kantar. She trains the technicians through the N-STEP program and the frontline personnel under the N-SAP curriculum.

The N-STEP, Nissan Technical Education Program, is segmented into engine, chassis and electrical, and in each segment the technicians learn the car mechanics in Level I and escalade in learning to get basic engineering theories in Level III. The N-SAP, Nissan Service Advisor Program trains the advisor to ensure a transparent, graceful and professional interaction with customers; based on objective and subjective results, outstanding service advisors will be chosen for MSA, Master Service Advisor program.

The NISTEC winner will be trained by Engineer Leila Kantar, to participate in the Regional NISTEC held in Dubai and, based on his results; he may participate in the Global NISTEC contest held in Japan. In the Regional NISTEC, participants are from GCC and LEVANT while the participants of the global NISTEC are from the entire world having won their Regional NISTEC.

As for the NISAC, participants are trained by RYMCO's in house service manager Rodolph Akiki.

Previously, RYMCO participated in the Global NISTEC and are sure that their winner will have all the potential and skills to make RYMCO reach the global NISTEC in Japan again.

The Rymco Parts Executive Salesmen are also receiving their training in Spare Parts by Engineer Mohammad Tabbara. The winner will be participating in the Nissan Parts Executive Excellence Competence Award (NIPEC) which will be held in Dubai.
